When deciding to invest in a property in the Okanagan, this group of investors was spearheaded by a jet-setting leader who had previous experience in Vacation Rentals, as he had been a client of Napa North for two years prior. For approximately 2 months he worked with NapaNorth in finding the perfect fit. The property was purchased with the full trust in NapaNorth as the investor was not in the country and did not see the property prior to purchase. During the purchase the investor used the valuable, local resources of NapaNorth such as recommended mortgage brokers and lawyers. The property was completely furnished and fully equipped with a functioning pool. The first season of summer rentals went extremely well with good clients and good occupancy. The months of September through May the property is rented by a group of 3rd year students all attending UBCO. The Investors are extremely happy with their investment.

This Alberta investor set out with a plan to eventually move and retire to Kelowna. After consultation with NapaNorth it was determined that the short term rental scenario, where they could rent the home out at a premium during summer months while occasionally using it for friends and family, would be the best plan for helping service the mortgage debt while enjoying a certain lifestyle.
With the specialized services of NapaNorth a property was chosen that suited all their needs, and after close to 2 years of successful summer rentals the investor chose to expand the pool and outdoor living space, and complete some other improvements to the property. The upgrades and renovations were contracted out completed with the help of NapaNorth and the outcome was fantastic.
It was during the renovation that the investor decided to purchase and build a new property in another location. That land was also acquired with the guidance of NapaNorth. At the end of Summer 2017 after the final rental was completed the Investor sold the property with the help of NapaNorth in a quick and efficient manner. All moving needs were taken care of by NapaNorth.
Today the investor is now in the process of building another home that is more customized to their needs and with the help of NapaNorth this project will be completed spring of 2018 and the process of renting and lifestyle usage will begin again.
